GNB Update

The weekend has arrived...Here's what happening...

Columbus State University finally has a graduate school. University officials made that announcement Friday. The new graduate school will offer more than 30 different programs at the doctoral, master's, and specialist levels. Click here to find out more about CSU's graduate studies.

School officials in one middle Georgia county have delayed the opening of two new schools...for now. Macon.com reports the two schools won't open until January 28. Both were supposed to open Thursday, but heavy rains in the last two months, plus unpaved parking lots, led to that delay...

and wintry weather conditions have forced the closure of multiple schools, colleges, and universities in the metro Atlanta area. Click here to find which schools and institiutions have closed their doors.
