New Atlanta Falcons Stadium closer to reality.

Our first post in quite a while.  And it's big.

Earlier this week, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced a tentative deal with a local church to help pave the way for the new Atlanta Falcons stadium. WXIA-TV (11alive.com) has the details here.

Things got even better for Reed and stadium supporters.  The Associated Press reports that a group who wanted to put the issue to a vote has conceded defeat. Common Cause Georgia failed to gather the needed 35,000 signatures to have the referendum qualify for the November ballot.
