What has been a rumor for most of the last decade is now a reality. 2010 Census figures released today (Tuesday) show that Georgia will get one new district in the U.S. House of Representatives. That brings the total number of congressional districts in the Peach State to 14. That's up from 13 in the 2000 Census.
