More bad economic news, this time out of northwest Georgia. The Chattanooga (Tenn.) Times-Free Press reports that Shaw Industries of Ringgold is closing soon. That will cost more than 400 employees their jobs. The company closed similar plants in Calhoun and Valdosta earlier this year.
